Columbia Falls Powers Past Havre into State Semifinals

Zach Darling powered in four touchdowns and the Wildcats rolled past Havre, 46-7, in the quarterfinals of the Class A football playoffs.

Columbia Falls (9-0) now travels across the state to take on the defending champs, Billings Central (8-1). With the victory, Columbia Falls would host the state title game.

Dillon hosts Belgrade in the other semifinal game.

Darling scored three TDs in the second half and Alex Presnell added another while the defense clamped down and held Havre scoreless. The offense has now scored 40 or more points six times this season while the defense has held opponents to 14 or fewer points in all but one game.

Quarterback Jared Trinastich passed for three TDs, connecting with Presnell, Mark Hader and Trevor Houston.
