Baker’s Jordan Walker scored on a 1-yard run with 56 seconds remaining to sink Bigfork in the quarterfinal round of the Class B playoffs.
The Vikings finished their remarkable season at 9-1. Baker (10-0) will host Glasgow (9-1) in the semifinals.
Baker led 20-14 at halftime on TD runs of 5 and 32 yards by Mason Melby and on a 78-yard scamper by Joe Fisher. Bigfork took a 21-20 lead on a 4-yard TD run by Josh Sandry in the third quarter. The Vikes took their last lead of the game, 28-26, on a 3-yard scoring burst by Vinny Quirk with 8:56 to play.
Quirk led Bigfork with 90 yards on 12 carries. Sandry passed for 88 yards.
