Cow Spotting

8:21 a.m. A resident on Scenic Drive reported that his dog was outside trying to kill a cat. He planned to leave shortly after the call, and worried that his dog would succeed while he was out.

9:05 a.m. An Evergreen woman called in to talk about the stray cat she recently adopted.

9:07 a.m. A loose cow was spotted on Highway 93 South.

9:49 a.m. A cow was seen crossing Highway 93 South.

9:54 a.m. A Bachelor Grade resident found a bullet hole in his mailbox and a pile of white powder on the ground.

11:32 a.m. A feral cat was turned over to the spay and neuter task force after attacking and injuring numerous domestic cats on McMannamy Drive.

1:03 p.m. A Kalispell woman canceled the check she wrote out to an Algerian man who had called called requesting donations for a fundraiser at a local Kalispell high school.

1:18 p.m. An employee from a Coram business reported that an aggressive man in a fur coat refused to leave. Shortly after the call, he was seen peddling southbound on a bicycle with a small basket on the front.

3:21 p.m. A Coram resident called 911 after successfully capturing a loose blue heeler.

3:41 p.m. An intoxicated man wearing flannel pants was seen shuffling down Highway 2 East in Evergreen.

4:41 p.m. A Bigfork resident complained that he is consistently harassed by his neighbor’s dog.

5:04 p.m. A loose horse was captured in Martin City.

11:51 p.m. A homeless man reported that he was being harassed by two men on Craigslist.
