Kalispell Airport to Offer Nonstop Summer Flights to Portland

Alaska Airlines is launching a new nonstop commercial air service between Kalispell and Portland, Ore., this summer, the airline company announced Tuesday.

The flights will operate daily June 9 through Aug. 23.

“We’re pleased to give our Pacific Northwest customers convenient nonstop service to another Montana city and connect Portland residents with one of the Big Sky Country’s most popular recreational destinations,” said Joe Sprague, vice president of marketing for Alaska Airlines.

The flights will depart Glacier Park International Airport at 6:50 p.m. and arrive in Portland at 7:25 p.m. Pacific Coast Time. Flights will leave Portland at 3:55 p.m. PCT and arrive in Kalispell at 6:20 p.m.

“This new daily service will give Northwest Montana residents direct access to the exciting city of Portland, but also great connection opportunities within the Alaska Air Group network,” said Cindi Martin, director of GPIA.

To celebrate the new service, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory fares starting from $99 each way. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 26.
