Poll: Bigfork Boys Retake Top Spot; Columbia Falls Girls Still No. 1

The undefeated Bigfork Vikings reclaimed their No. 1 ranking in Class B while the dominant Columbia Falls Wildkats remained the best in Class A, according to the latest Associated Press high school basketball poll that was released Wednesday.

Bigfork (18-0) will host a district tournament playoff game at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. The eighth-ranked Bigfork girls play at 5 p.m.

The Columbia Falls girls (16-1) are tops in Class A and will vie for a state tournament berth at next week’s Northwestern A divisional tournament at Glacier High.

The Columbia Falls boys (13-4) are ranked fourth in Class A.
