State Basketball: Curley, Polson Overpower Miles City

Andrew Curley scored 22 points to lead Polson past Miles City 62-44 in the consolation bracket of the Class A state basketball tournament in Great Falls on Friday.

Cedrick Smith added 13 points, Andrew Weltz had 12 and the Pirates stayed alive at state, exploding for 23 points in the fourth quarter.

Polson plays Saturday at 9:30 a.m. against the loser of Columbia Falls and Laurel, who are tipping off right now in the semifinal round. Click here to view the state bracket.
