Stolen Shake-A-Day

8:45 a.m. A Gunsight Loop resident reported that the neighbor yelled at his dog for barking at a pheasant.

9:46 a.m. An Evergreen man called in with concerns regarding his neighbor’s ever-growing collection of trash. The neighbor promised to have it hauled to the dump the following day.

9:52 a.m. Reportedly, two pairs of brothers who were recently expelled have been loitering around the Lakeside elementary school playground, smoking cigarettes and chatting with susceptible kids.

11:09 a.m. A man called in from a local battery store to report finding a seemingly expensive mountain bike parked next to a dumpster.

11:27 a.m. A woman on Peaceful Drive complained that neighbor man had been chucking batteries and firecrackers into her yard since Christmas.

1:02 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that a strange man with an Asian accent calls everyday and swears at her. She was advised to block his number.

1:02 p.m. A Whitefish man also received a call from a man with an Asian accent. Apparently, he claimed to be a terrorist and threatened to blow the man’s house up.

1:19 p.m. The owner of a Coram bar reported that a former employee stole the “shake-a-day” and took money from the safe. He claimed she was, at the time of the call, down the street at another bar gambling away the stolen money.

5:11 p.m. A lonely brown dog with a washed out collar was found wandering down on Taelor Road.

6:04 p.m. Someone called in concerned about a doe that appeared to be stuck behind a barbed wire fence near Lawrence Park. It jumped over the fence shortly after the call.

2:12 a.m. Two drunken men fought over the manner in which one of them had been shot.
