7:49 a.m. A Whitefish man’s well being was threatened after talking to another man’s girlfriend.

8:54 a.m. A beagle was on the run in Martin City.

9:20 a.m. A balding man in a trench coat stole some candy from a local store. He was last seen pedaling away on his bicycle.

9:22 a.m. Bunnies are loose in the neighborhood of Third Avenue West.

9:26 a.m. A bookkeeper at a lumber yard on Highway 2 West reported that man with a “creep factor of 100” stole a power saw the day before.

10:18 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that a guy she recently went on a date with sent her a threatening text message. She is considering a restraining order.

12:37 p.m. Boys on Sixth Avenue West were seen shooting squirrels out of trees with slingshots.

3:33 p.m. A woman on Country Way is having problems with “speeders” and reported that those speeders have been flipping her off. She hoped a deputy would help her resolve the problem.

5:06 p.m. A woman picked up a hitchhiker but promptly booted him out when he began to talk of the crimes he planned to commit once he reached his destination. A deputy found him and assessed his mental status.

7:29 p.m. A drunken man drove home, which was across the street, after he was refused alcohol at a Kalispell gas station.

9:08 p.m. A Bigfork woman reported that a strange man in flip-flops knocked on her door and asked directions. She thought he was weird.
