Whitefish Man Killed in Crash

A 60-year-old Whitefish man was kill in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night, according to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry.

Ronnie Taylor was driving his 2006 Corvette on East Edgewood Drive near Whitefish when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident was discovered shortly before 11 p.m. and Taylor died at the scene from blunt force trauma. He was wearing a seatbelt.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to authorities, and is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
