Garage Sale Theft

8:00 a.m. A pickup collided with a snowplow on Glacier Airport Road. No one was injured.

11:17 a.m. Someone called from Iverson Lane to report finding muddy fingerprints on the windows of their vacant home and that someone had attempted to access the key box with an axe.

12:18 p.m. Someone on Highway 2 East claimed that his tires had been slashed with a knife.

3:05 p.m. A woman on Fourth Avenue West reported that someone stole a teddy bear figurine from her garage sale and in its place left a purple dress with a note claiming that it was worth $1,000.

3:30 p.m. Two large booms were heard in the area of Ponderosa Lane.

4:14 p.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that someone, likely his neighbor, was shooting at the treetops over his head.

4:55 p.m. A West Glacier woman’s missing 3-year-old was found safely sleeping under the kitchen table.

5:28 p.m. A Jellison Road resident reported that someone had graffitied their grain towers.

10:02 p.m. A woman on Magstadt Lane reported that a kid in a white Subaru was driving up and down her street, scoping out homes.

12:34 a.m. An annoyed employee of an Evergreen grocery store reported that his daughter’s boyfriend was in the store pestering him about her problems.

2:00 a.m. Reportedly, numerous residents of Main Street in Hungry Horse were heard yelling at someone who was playing music so loudly that it caused nearby buildings to shake.
