HELENA — A 38-year-old Kalispell man was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Montana City.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the driver of a southbound pickup truck lost control and the pickup rolled through the median and came to rest in the northbound lanes. It was struck broadside by a northbound crossover utility vehicle at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday. The victim was a passenger in the CUV. His name hasn’t been released.
The patrol says a 36-year-old Helena woman in the CUV was critically injured while the 42-year-old Clancy man who was driving and a 41-year-old Clancy woman who was a passenger were both seriously injured. The driver of the pickup, a 22-year-old man from Clancy, also was injured.
