Dog on the Run

8:32 a.m. A resident on White Swan Court reported that an old yellow Lab is constantly on the run and rummaging through his garbage.

8:58 a.m. A jilted hairdresser in Kalispell reported that her client has refused to pay for her services.

10:01 p.m. A man on 14th Street West reported that the neighbor’s big, mean malamute was in his front yard harassing his service dog.

11:01 a.m. An employee of a local store reported that a customer stole a bottle of wine a few days ago.

11:30 a.m. According to a woman on Poplar Drive, two loose dogs and a puppy were “squealing” as they ran through the rain.

11:36 a.m. A Hungry Horse man reported that he and a few others were trying to keep a medium sized mutt out of traffic.

2:01 p.m. A woman on Peaceful Drive in Bigfork reported that a wolf was at large in her neighborhood and had just killed a fawn. An animal warden found the wolf to be a dog, gave the dog owner a citation, and disposed of the fawn.

7:40 p.m. A lone Great Dane was seen dragging its leash down Seventh Avenue West.

9 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that an ex-friend has been harassing her and her sister.
