Traffic Slowed on Hwy 2 Due to Gas Main Incident

Southbound lanes closed for emergency repair operations.

UPDATE: The incident has been cleared, and traffic will resume normally.

The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 2 just north of where the highway connects with Highway 35 were closed on Wednesday afternoon due to a gas main incident, according to the Montana Department of Transportation.

The lanes were closed for emergency repair operations, and traffic was reduced to one lane, using the center turning lane.
