No Loose Dogs

8:47 a.m. A Kalispell woman accused her youngest son of stealing her tablet.

9:23 a.m. A Columbia Falls man called 911 to report that his wife saw a cross-dresser standing near her picket fence. They were advised that it is not illegal for a man to dress as a woman.

10:14 a.m. A woman on Cayuse Lane claimed that an old friend recently threatened her. When asked about the nature of the threats, she claimed he hasn’t been invited to her home, but plans to visit her anyway.

11:50 a.m. An officer patrolled the entire south end of Hungry Horse and didn’t see any loose dogs.

1:29 p.m. A Kila resident reported that someone claiming to be from the IRS called and threatened her first from a Jamaica phone number, then hung up and called back from a Washington phone number.

3:29 p.m. Reportedly, two horses were trying to cross the road at the House of Mystery.

7:15 p.m. A woman called from a bar on Highway 35 in Kalispell to report that her “ride got pushed over and clocked in the face.” According to another woman at the bar, he was “stealing crap.”

8:48 p.m. A Hungry Horse man reported that he was lighting off fireworks in his backyard when the neighbor’s dog ran over and jumped into his fire pit. The man worried that the neighbor would retaliate. The neighbor didn’t and the dog was not seriously injured.

11:41 p.m. An Olney man reported that a black bear was outside banging on the windows and doors.
