Sheriff: No Foul Play in Pablo Woman’s Death

The Pablo woman who had been missing for a week and was found near Bigfork on July 8 died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.

Shannon Turner, 40, was reported missing nearly two weeks ago and was last seen on June 30 in Pablo. On July 8, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Turner’s vehicle had been located between Creston and Bigfork. Flathead County Sheriff deputies found the car and human remains inside, which were later determined to be Turner’s.
