Cat in a Tree

8:19 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that his former employee is weird and that he is in need of a restraining order.

11:49 a.m. An employee of a business on Fox Run Trail reported that a neighbor man trespassed onto the property and stole some kind of road material. The man confessed and agreed to stop his thieving and trespassing activities.

12:29 p.m. A Bigfork resident reported that a paddle boarder fell off of their board numerous times and seemed to be struggling. The paddle boarder was found and did not want assistance.

1:35 p.m. A shotgun and a rifle were stolen out of a man’s locked trunk on West Reserve Drive.

1:50 p.m. A cat on Highway 35 in Bigfork has been in a tree for two days.

2:19 p.m. A motor-less drift boat was stolen from a residence in Coram.

3:51 p.m. A Marion woman reported that someone pretending to be from the IRS told her to wire the money that she supposedly owed, but to do it “secretly.”

4:39 p.m. A man called form Columbia Falls after watching someone place a vial of some sort in a telephone pole. A deputy looked into it and found the vial to be part of a geocaching game.

5:11 p.m. A Gunsight Loop resident complained that the neighbor has had their sprinkler on for the past two days and that some of the water has hit his fence and front lawn. He was advised that it is not criminal for his neighbor to water his lawn.

5:48 p.m. A Marion resident reported that someone dumped garbage out onto their property at some point last winter.

10:03 p.m. An Evergreen woman found her car, which is not for sale, posted on a “new and used” website.

11:32 p.m. A “missing” 13-year-old boy returned home to his concerned parents after taking a nap under some bushes near his home.
