Two adult otters attacked and injured a young boy in a pond near Echo Lake on Monday, according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials.
According to a press release, the boy was swimming in the Lake of the Woods east of Kalispell when two adult otters attacked his legs. The boy received multiple bite wounds following the attack. FWP officials are actively investigating the incident.
