The body of a 59-year-old Kalispell man has been found, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday. Lee Adams had been missing since July 31.
Late last week, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office asked the public for help in locating Adams. On Aug. 8, a person called police and reported that they had seen a pickup truck matching the one described by law enforcement. Sheriff deputies and Two Bear helicopter responded to the area where they located the truck. Adams’ body was located a short distance away.
Adams apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities. Police are investigating the death.
