Visitor Injured by Horse on Wild Horse Island

Incident occurred on Aug. 17 on Wild Horse Island State Park

A Wild Horse Island State Park visitor was injured on Aug. 17 after coming in contact with a wild horse, according to a Montana State Parks press release.

According to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, officials are investigating the incident and no further details are available at this time. However, state officials encourage visitors to never approach or feed animals on the island.
