GREAT FALLS — Federal prosecutors have filed charges in connection with a March bank robbery in Browning.

Ronald Fourhorns was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Great Falls on Aug. 26 and pleaded not guilty to charges of bank robbery and theft. A public defender was appointed and his trial was set for Nov. 3.

Police said an armed man entered Native American Bank in Browning shortly after it opened on March 21, took more than $1,000 and escaped in what witnesses said was a 1990s model Ford Explorer.

The Great Falls Tribune reports no one was injured in the robbery. Charging documents do not say how much money was taken or if anyone else faces prosecution.
