GREAT FALLS — Officials in Cascade County have identified the woman who was killed and the three who were injured in a plane crash about 30 miles southeast of Great Falls.

Sheriff Bob Edwards says 67-year-old Susan Majerus of Great Falls died in the crash Tuesday afternoon.

The crash injured 68-year-old Robert Majerus, 11-year-old Rachel Lukasik and 55-year-old Christopher Wilsey, the pilot. All three suffered burns. Rachel was flown to a burn center in Salt Lake City for treatment.

Holman Aviation financial officer Roxann Tveter tells the Great Falls Tribune the plane was based at the Holman facility. The Cessna 177 took off from Great Falls International Airport at about 1 p.m. Tuesday and crashed in the Little Belt Mountains near the King’s Hill Winter Recreation Area parking lot.

The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
