Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier Reopens

Park reopened the road after closing it because of winter weather conditions

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – The entire length of Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park has been reopened to traffic.

The park reopened the road Saturday morning after closing it earlier this week because of winter weather conditions.

While the road is open, the park cautions motorists to watch out for icy patches and debris on the road.
