The Glacier Wolfpack volleyball team is ranked second in the inaugural Class AA coaches poll of the season.
The power rankings released this week have the Wolfpack sitting second behind two-time defending state champion Billings Senior. Flathead is ranked fifth.
Glacier (7-1 overall, 1-0 in Western AA) defeated Billings Skyview 25-18, 25-19, 25-17 at the Great Falls tournament on Sept. 11. The girls placed third at the Electric City Invitational Sept. 12-13, going 3-1 in bracket play.
Flathead (3-3, 0-0) fell to Billings Senior 18-25, 10-25, 11-25 in Great Falls and went 1-2 at the Electric City Invite.
The Wolfpack travel to Helena to play the Bengals Friday and then Helena Capital Saturday. Flathead is off until Sept. 23, when the Bravettes play at crosstown Glacier.
