Our governor, Steve Bullock, is laying out a concrete plan for statewide funded pre-K (4-year-olds). This will be funded by taxpayers at the tune of an estimated $37 million for two years of pre-school access.
Our federal government now controls our banking, healthcare and education and that is only the top three, there are much more. The constraints of the U.S. Constitution once kept our government from controlling every aspect of our lives. Our founders knew how important it was for us to protect and defend the greatest document of individual freedom ever written. Our rights were from God, and our government was created to “protect” those rights. Sadly, we got distracted, became complacent and we are now very much living in a post-U.S. Constitution America – a dangerous place.
David Feith, assistant editor of the Wall Street Journal, would say Common Core “has an obsession with race, class, gender and sexuality as the forces of history and political identity. This is achieved by promoting anti-capitalism, sustainability, white guilt, global diversity, fairness and multiculturalism.”
Many monies have bribed PTAs, teachers’ unions, governors, etc., to ensure this quick implementation without any parental and serious educational professional or state legislative input! Millions of dollars poured from the Bill Gates foundation, Walton Family Foundation, George Soros, etc., to enable this takeover.
Common Core textbooks show extreme environmentalism, social justice and a global citizen agenda that marginalizes individual rights in favor of the global “collective.” That’s socialism folks – the precursor to Communism It’s tentacles reach into homeschool and private school education.
If you believe in academic freedom of choice, and the hearts, minds and souls of your children, please urge our Montana legislation to opt out of Common Core and not fund it further!
