BOZEMAN — Democrat John Lewis and Republican Ryan Zinke are meeting in the second debate between the U.S. House candidates this week.
The televised debate begins at 6 p.m. Saturday.
They are campaigning to replace U.S. Rep. Steve Daines, who is leaving his House seat to run for Senate.
Zinke is a former state senator and Navy SEAL from Whitefish. Lewis was a longtime aide to former U.S. Sen. Max Baucus.
They met in Billings on Monday, where they debated about the role of the federal government and the need for ground troops to battle Islamic militants.
Additional debates are scheduled in Kalispell and Great Falls later this month.
