Senate Candidates Meet for First Debate

Republican Daines and Democrat Curtis are scheduled to debate at 6 p.m. Monday

BILLINGS – U.S. Senate candidates Amanda Curtis and Steve Daines are meeting in the first of back-to-back debates.

Republican Daines and Democrat Curtis are scheduled to debate at 6 p.m. Monday at Montana State University-Billings’ Petro Theater.

It will be broadcast by Montana Television Network stations and Yellowstone Public Radio.

It will be the first time the candidates have met since Curtis was selected as the Democrats’ replacement nominee in August, when Sen. John Walsh dropped out of the race.

Monday’s debate will be followed by one on Tuesday night in Sidney.
