A Kalispell woman pleaded not guilty to felony assault with a weapon after she allegedly threatened a man with a bow and arrow on Oct. 18.
Launa Nisbett appeared in Flathead County District Court on Oct. 30 in Kalispell.
According to court documents, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at a residence on Bernard Road. A man at the residence told officers he had an argument with Nisbett and at one point she grabbed a bow and arrow, drew the arrow back and aimed at him. The sheriff’s deputy found Nisbett in a camper on the property and found an arrow nearby.
If convicted of assault with a weapon, Nisbett could face 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. A trial has been set for April 2015.
