GREAT FALLS — The Montana Highway Patrol says a 58-year-old Great Falls man died when his vehicle went out of control on an icy road.

Trooper Luke Burson says a full-size pickup truck was towing a jeep with a vehicle dolly about 8 p.m. Saturday on state Highway 200 near Clearwater Junction when the accident happened.

The vehicle rotated completely and struck a guardrail on the south side of the road and rolled down a hillside.

Burson tells the Great Falls Tribune that the wreck was not visible from the roadway and wasn’t discovered until Sunday afternoon by a fisherman.

The male driver was the only person in the vehicle. His name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
