MILES CITY — Grady Bennett, who led Kalispell Glacier to an unbeaten season and the school’s first Class AA football championship, has been chosen to coach the Montana team in the Badlands Bowl against a team of North Dakota all-stars.

Bennett tells the Miles City Star that being selected head coach is a huge honor because it means your team had a good season and because it’s a great game.

Bennett’s coaching staff includes his Glacier High defensive coordinator Shannon Smith along with Whitefish coach Chad Ross, Townsend coach Travis Raugh, retiring Columbus coach John Smith and Chinook coach Scott Friede.

The 22nd annual Badlands Bowl will be held on June 20 in Miles City.

The North Dakota all-stars won the 2014 game 25-22 but Montana leads the series 15-6.

The rosters for the 2015 game have not been announced.
