VA Secretary to Tour Helena, Missoula, Billings Facilities

Bob McDonald will tour Montana VA facilities on March 31 and April 1

HELENA — U.S. Veterans Affairs Secretary Bob McDonald will tour Montana VA facilities on March 31 and April 1.

Democratic Sen. Jon Tester’s office says McDonald and Tester will visit Helena and Missoula on March 31 and Billings on April 1.

They plan to meet with Montana veterans, VA employees, representatives from veterans service organizations, local health care providers and community leaders.

The VA came under much criticism last year for long wait times by patients and falsified records to cover up the wait times.
