Wachholz Three-Peats as State Handball Doubles Champ

Kalispell handball player wins third title at state tournament in Butte

By Beacon Staff

For the third year in a row, Kalispell’s Chance Wachholz was part of the winning duo at the Montana State Handball Championship Doubles Tournament held in Butte earlier this month.

Wachholz captured the doubles crown alongside new partner Pete Svennungsen of Spokane. The pair were competing in the open division.

Wachholz, a real estate broker with West Venture, has an impressive resume on the handball court. He has won three-straight doubles titles and a singles title in the toughest division.

He and Svennungsen defeated Missoula’s Steve Maier and Sean Sandau for the doubles title on March 15.
