Drinking and Driving

11:52 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that the neighbor might be monitoring his kids’ backyard activities with the camera he recently installed.

6:05 p.m. Someone reported that a small branch had fallen across a section of Highway 2 East near Columbia Falls. Someone else moved it.

6:21 p.m. Someone in a little red Geo Metro zoomed through two red lights on Old Reserve Drive.

6:59 p.m. A woman called from Hungry Horse claiming that her husband left her at the grocery store. She was hoping a deputy might have time to give her and her daughter a ride to Missoula. This request was denied.

8:30 p.m. A Whitefish resident reported that the neighbor man listens to his music so loudly that he can’t hear his TV. The area was quiet when a deputy arrived and the neighbor in question denied the accusation, claiming that he didn’t even own a stereo.

9:23 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her drunken friend was out driving, but didn’t know where. When asked how she knew he was intoxicated, she stated that she “just knows.”
