BOZEMAN — Eight Montana State University students face drug distribution charges after an investigation found they were selling marijuana, LSD and hash oil from their dorm rooms or off-campus apartments.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports Gallatin County judges issued arrest warrants for all eight, setting their bail at $75,000. None had been arrested by Wednesday.

Court records say a confidential informant made purchases from all eight between December and February.

A search of an off-campus apartment turned up marijuana, butane hash oil, marijuana-laced treats, a kit for growing psychedelic mushrooms and $7,000 in cash. A search of one of the student’s dorm rooms turned up a pound of marijuana and $2,400 in cash.

The students face charges including possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and distribution of dangerous drugs.
