The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the public comment period for the Flathead National Forest Plan revision proposal by 10 days.
The deadline to submit comments is now May 15.
An extension for public comment was also granted for the proposed forest plan amendments to incorporate relevant direction from the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem Grizzly Bear Conservation Strategy.
The forest plan revision and an interactive map detailing its various proposals are available online at http://www.fs.usda.gov/goto/flathead/fpr.
