Highway 82 Reopens After Wreck

At least two people were transported to KRMC following an automobile wreck on Montana Highway 82 on Monday

Two people were taken to the hospital in Kalispell after a near head-on collision on Montana Highway 82 Monday afternoon.

As of Monday afternoon, the condition of both drivers was unknown.

According to Sheriff Chuck Curry, a full-size pickup truck and a box truck were involved in the wreck that happened on the Flathead River bridge between Somers and Bigfork shortly before 1 p.m. The road was closed for nearly an hour as first responders cleared the scene.

Montana Highway Patrol is containing to investigate the wreck.
