Elderly Missoula Man Charged with Soliciting Prostitution

Man allegedly offered teen boys money for sex

MISSOULA — A 72-year-old Missoula man faces two prostitution charges after police say he solicited sex from two teens in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.

Allan Buscaglia made an initial appearance before acting Justice of the Peace David Steele on Tuesday and his bail was set at $100,000.

Buscaglia’s attorney had asked the court to release him or impose a significantly lower bail, but prosecutors argued Buscaglia has lewd act convictions dating back to the 1970s.

Court documents say Buscaglia pulled up to Taco Bell on Monday and waved a wad of cash at a teenage boy. The boy became uncomfortable and called a friend to pick him up. The boys called 911 and said the man offered them each $100.

Charging documents say Buscaglia later told an officer that he offered the teens cash for sex.
