Illegal Dumping

9:50 a.m. A local woman reported that the neighbor man has a habit of shooting crows, ravens and turkeys out of his backyard. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem.

11:01 a.m. Someone in Whitefish reported that the neighbor woman has been gone for days and had abandoned her two dogs. However, an animal warden found the woman home and the dogs well taken care of.

11:06 a.m. A Lone Star Trail resident reported that someone slashed his tires.

3:17 p.m. A foul-mouthed man with a long gray pony tail threatened to leave his garbage at the dump, despite instruction not to.

5:54 p.m. Reportedly, the frantic driver of an old, tan van passed on a double yellow line and nearly caused an accident on Highway 93 South.

9:14 p.m. An evening of adult beverages and badminton ended in a drunken shoving match and hurtful words.

9:52 p.m. A Bigfork man reported that a Kalispell man armed with a stick attacked and damaged his wife’s Oldsmobile.
