BILLINGS — Montana authorities have cancelled a missing and endangered person alert for two children who had been taken by their non-custodial mother.

State officials said in a Friday statement that the six-year-old boy and one-year-old girl were doing fine after being located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

An alert issued Thursday said that the children were believed to be in danger and had been last seen on May 3 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
