City Staff Reviewing Three Proposed Apartment Complexes, New Hotel

Developers for a possible future hotel in the Spring Prairie Phase Four project

Three separate apartment complexes are in the works in Kalispell, as well as a possible new hotel near Kidsports Complex.

The Kalispell Site Development Review Committee last week gave its approval to a new apartment complex on 1079 N. Meridian, an apartment complex on Financial Drive and a larger complex on Treeline Road. The developments still need further approval from other city boards and staff before breaking ground.

Developers are seeking to build a three-story, nine-unit apartment complex on North Meridian. Known as the Calaway Apartments, the project would encompass 9,788 square feet of new building in the first phase of a possible multi-phase project.

On Financial Drive, developers are seeking to build three four-plexes.

The Treeline Road project is part of the Bloomstone subdivision and proposes 96 units, or eight 12-plexes. The development would be near Kidsports Complex.

Also, the site review committee heard preliminary comments from developers for a possible future hotel in the Spring Prairie Phase Four project, which is directly adjacent to Kidsports.
