The Flathead County Office of Emergency Services has issued a weather advisory for north central Flathead County, warning of a strong thunderstorm and high winds that are forecasted to arrive Thursday afternoon.
Pea-size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with the storm, the OES said.
Visitors to Glacier National Park and Logan Pass are in the path of the storm and should prepare for “imminent dangerous weather conditions.”
Frequent lightning could likely occur with the storm.
