Sheriff: Fatal Columbia Falls House Fire Not Suspicious

Still unclear how Monday's fatal fire started

KALISPELL — Flathead County investigators have not been able to determine the cause of a fire that killed a woman and her young son, but don’t have any reason to suspect foul play.

Sheriff Chuck Curry tells KCFW-TV that the cause and path of the fire are unclear due to the level of destruction at the home after the Aug. 3 fire.

The fire killed 30-year-old Brittany Kayleen Ince and her 3-year-old son Gavin Thomas Henrichon.
