A Kalispell man pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual intercourse without consent after he allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend’s 12-year-old daughter in 2011.

Jayson Arik Marquez appeared in Flathead County District Court on Aug. 13.

According to court documents, Marquez was living his girlfriend when he forced her daughter to have sex with him on multiple occasions in late-2011. The girl told her mother what happened in 2014 and then reported Marquez to the police.

If convicted, Marquez could face up to 100 years in prison and a fine of $50,000. Marquez is scheduled to go to trial in October.
