FVCC Accepting Applications for Vacant Board Position

The successful applicant will serve on the board until May 2016

The Board of Trustees of Flathead Valley Community College is accepting letters of application to fill a vacant trustee position.

Bob Nystuen stepped down from the FVCC board last month after being appointed to the state Board of Regents.

The successful applicant will serve on the board until May 2016, and may run for election  to serve the remainder of the current three-year term concluding in May 2017. Subsequent terms will be for a three-year period.

Letters may be addressed to the President’s Office, Flathead Valley Community College, 777 Grandview Drive, Kalispell, MT  59901. Letters will be accepted through September 1, from individuals currently living within the boundaries of the Flathead and Glacier High School District.

Interested applicants will be asked to appear before the Board of Trustees for an interview. Interviews will be conducted at a special board meeting Sept. 14.

The board can reject any or all applicants.
