Where: Woodland Park in Kalispell

Friends of Jack Beard, the climber who fell more than 600 feet in Glacier National Park when he lost his footing earlier this summer, will be gathering at Kalispell’s Woodland Park for a fundraiser on Sept. 26. The “Angels in the Mountains” event will include live music from the Kenny James Miller Band, Bad Larrys, Swift Current and the Tropical Montana Marimba Ensemble. There will also be a silent auction and children’s activities. All of the funds raised will go toward Beard’s substantial medical costs.
