The Flathead Valley Community College Art Department will host a photography exhibition featuring works by FVCC graduate Tyler Rasmussen. The exhibit opening will be held Sept. 25 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the FVCC Art Gallery inside the Arts & Technology building on the college’s Kalispell campus.
Rasmussen is a free-lancer specializing in film production, web design and still photography. In 2012, he followed police on drug busts and interviewed drug addicts as second unit cameraman/assistant on an episode of National Geographic’s “Drugs Inc.” series. His most recent project took him overseas to Turkey where he worked on the production of a documentary on the country’s archaeology.
Free and open to the public, the exhibit will remain open for public viewing through October 23. Photographs will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the FVCC Art Department.
