A young child was killed in a motor home fire west of Kalispell on Thursday morning, according to Flathead County Undersheriff Dave Leib.
The fire was reported around 10 a.m. along Daley Lane near Foys Lake. Leib said the mother of the child was taken to the hospital to be treated for burns. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Firefighters from Kalispell, South Kalispell, West Valley, Evergreen and Smith Valley all responded to the blaze.
