8:34 a.m. A crossing guard on Swan River Road reported that stray black lab charged a student who was crossing the street.

8:37 a.m. The driver of an 18-wheeler called in to report that she was stuck on Addison Square and blocking traffic.

10:16 a.m. A woman on Sheepherder Hill Road is unable to provide evidence that would properly convict the neighbor dog of killing her seven chickens, but believes he is the primary suspect.

11:13 a.m. A German shepherd was spotted in the woods near Brown’s Meadow Road in Kila.

1:39 p.m. A man on Sunnyside Drive reported that two stray huskies have been “chewing” on his sheep.

3:16 p.m. Someone reported that a drunken man in yellow shorts drove his green Plymouth Breeze over the top of the roundabout and wrecked on the other side. At the time of the call the man was stumbling around near his vehicle.

8:33 p.m. Someone on Bowman Drive reported that a strange man was in the area attempting to sell “religious things.” The caller believes the guy was probably casing houses.
