Lincoln County Authorities ID Remains as Libby Man

The coroner has not yet announced the cause and manner of death

Authorities have identified the remains of a body found in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the remains are those of William “Bill” Steven Tebby.

The 32-year-old was last seen at a few bars in Libby on Mineral Avenue the night of May 29 and early morning of May 30, 2014. The body was found earlier this month on an island in the Kootenai River near Bonners Ferry.

The coroner has not yet announced the cause and manner of death.

The death remain under investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
