BOZEMAN — Montana State University has conducted in-person interviews of five candidates for head football coach.

Athletic director Peter Fields says the search committee interviewed Bobcat offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey and Brian Wright, who was MSU offensive coordinator in 2010 and 2011.

The committee also interviewed Arizona State co-defensive director Chris Ball, Washington defensive line coach Jeff Choate and Missouri associate head coach Andy Hill.

Wright has a 4-0 record as an interim head coach at Florida Atlantic, an FBS school. Choate played his college football at Montana Western and has been an assistant to Chris Peterson at both Boise State and Washington. Ball was assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at Washington State under Paul Wulff.

Hill was an assistant at Missouri when Fields worked there as associate athletic director from 1996-2002.

Fields says the final decision should come within the next week.
