Hill Places 22nd at Foot Locker Nationals

Kalispell’s Annie Hill placed 22nd at Foot Locker Nationals in San Diego on Saturday.

Hill, a sophomore at Glacier High School, crossed the finish line in 18:18.9 for 5K.

The lone runner from Montana to race at the cross country championship, Hill was the fourth youngest finisher in the race. She won the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship West Regional the previous week.

A year ago, Hill placed eighth at nationals in San Diego, running 17:52.

Weini Kelati, a junior from Virginia, won the girls race in 17:09.7. A year ago, Kelati placed 20th in 18:20.
